Responsible and accountable for Paint shop, powder coating and Paint Touch Up lines production, quality, safety

and cost performance.

Ø  To Ensure BBS implementation on shop floor to ensure safety compliance on Shop Floor

Ø  To maintain machines and workplace hazards free to eliminate near miss and minor/major incidences on-line.

Ø  To ensure timely reporting of Hazards and near miss as per target

Ø  Training to operators on good safety practices

Ø  Daily/monthly safety reports/target completion

Ø  Active participation in Zero waste to landfill practices

Ø  To ensure meeting of the OHSAS 18001 requirements compliance

Ø  To ensure powder coating and paint shop output and its production related activities.

Ø  Daily efficient production planning to meet organisation production target

Ø  To ensure Zero painted parts shortages on all assembly lines

Ø  Daily Line efficiency monitoring, analysis and action plan implementation on losses.

Ø  To monitor and control absenteeism online by proper manpower planning.

Ø  To ensure word class qualitative output from each workstation.

Ø  To ensure First time right products by developing Operator Quality assurance system on shop floor

Ø  To implement quality inspector free processes online

Ø  Adherence to JCB System & Procedure

Ø  Daily online defects tracking, analysis and action plan implementation by application of best QMS practices on shop floor.

Ø  Responsible for new process developments, Kaizen and TPM related activities. 

Online data collection, monitoring consumptions and reduction plan for daily usage paints, thinners, chemicals, powder and consumables

Ø  Sustainable timeline action plan on internal and external complaints

Ø  To ensure Zero observation in internal and external audit

Ø  Compliance on IMS related requirements

Technical Competencies    

Ø  Technical and analytical knowledge of Electrostatic liquid painting and powder coating process.

Ø  Experience in new product development

Ø  Knowledge regarding jigs and fixtures

Ø  Knowledge regarding conveyor systems and mechanical expertise

Ø  Knowledge of quality tools and systems

Ø  Knowledge of best lean manufacturing practices of the industries.

Ø  Knowledge of manpower handling and techniques to eliminate manpower related behavioural issue on shop floor

Ø  Knowledge of SQC and SPC

Ø  Knowledge of SAP/Infor

Ø  Good knowledge of MS word, excel and power point presentation.

Ø  Knowledge of IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001)
