Job Details

•                Support functional head in administering the full life-cycle of the technical procurement and contracts processes.

•                Support the end to end procurement process for the following scope of technological aspects w.r.t power generation business

o   Ash Handling Plant O&M spares procurement and service contracts

o   Controls &Instrument Equipment Spares

o   Rail Track & SignallingEquipments

o   CW System Spares

o   All Manpower related annual maintenance/overhauling job contracts.

o   Coal Handling Plant O&M spares procurement and service contracts

o   HVAC system and its spares procurement

o   Compressors procurement and AMCs

o   Other Mechanical and Electrical spares

•                Render procurement lifecycle through SAP System.

•                Responsible for vendor evaluation and development related to above scope

•                Monthly MIS data for management review.

Key Skills (Functional & Behavioral)

•                Strong communication skills

•                Ability to accurately read, interpret, develop and negotiate terms and conditions of contracts

•                Strong negotiating skills

•                Strong commercial acumen and decision making

•                Working knowledge of strategic sourcing concepts and methodologies

•                Hands with SAP ERP (MM Module) and MS Office Systems

•                Understands technical aspects of power generation operational setup

•                Good analytical skills

•                Education: Degree in Engineering. MBA In Materials Management/Operations/Supply Chain Preferred

•                Experience: 7-10 Yrs

•                Experience of working with power plants with specific experience into managing procurement of technical equipment and spare parts (Mechanical, Electrical, C&I etc)
