A)    Activity

1.     Conduct safety inspection, risk assessment of all section/ units of plants

2.     Monitoring work permit system & PPE compliance in company premises

3.     Reporting and Investigating incidents, accidents, near misses and ensuring CAPA Compliance

4.     Prevention of unsafe practices in factory premises, using various methods/ technics

5.     Monitoring and Maintenance of fire extinguishers.     To carry out external/internal safety audit

6.     To carry out monitoring of environment-related parameters.

7.     Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.

8.     Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.

9.     Oversee disposal of hazardous waste

10.  Carry out lifting equipment and accessories inspection and certification.

11.  Implementation of contractor safety Management

12.  Implementation of chemical safety management, including compliance to MSDS

13.  Ensuring safe working practices & Identify/help in eliminating the unsafe condition

14.  Ensuring updating of Daily, weekly, Monthly Safety and Environment related MIS

15.  Training related to industrial safety & health to all levels of employees

B)   Systems

16.  Understanding, learning & adherence to the IMS for EHS dept.

17.  Work experience with SAP MM Module

18.  Incident data analysis and reporting on a daily basis.

C)   People

19.  To develop and engage employees for better safety performance during their work.

20.  Training related to industrial safety & health to all levels of employees 

21.  Development of safety culture in factory , using various method/ technics

a.     Knowledge of legal Compliance related to industrial Safety.

b.    Knowledge of safety in fabrication/ automobile/ heavy engineering                         

c.     Good communication and presentation skills

d.    Should able to communicate in Marathi Language

e.     Should willing to come in shift timing
