Job Description

Establishing fabrication commodity strategy in-line with business growth and expectations
Ensure business continuity, cost, and capacity targets.
Anticipating commodity challenges and deriving short term/long term actions plan to mitigate the risk.
Development of strategic suppliers as per business unit requirement
Formulating costing model / common costing structure, process norms for commodity suppliers
Support digitization initiative on costing processes to bring transparency,efficiency, and compliance.
Preparation of business case for new supplier introduction
In-depth knowledge of fabrication processes like metal cutting, metal bending, paint, machining, and welding.
Preparation and evaluation of price change proposals / NPIP cost proposals.
Interaction with respective site team on fabrication commodities and contribute PAN India projects.
Reporting monthly performance of commodity in-terms of new projects, new supplier, savings, supplier consolidation, provisions etc.
