    POSITION: Branch Manager Small Town India

    QUALIFICATION: Candidates Should be MBA/ PGDM Full Time Qualified from premium institutes (IIMs, IRMA, NMIMS, FMS Delhi, SCMHRD, SIBM, XLRI, SP Jain, IMT Gzb, XIM B)
     
    EXPERIENCE: 2- 5 YRS

    CONTEXT: Sleepwell is an iconic brand and market leader in the modern mattress category. Sleepwell has acquired Kurlon, making it the single largest mattress brand in India.

    However, still an estimated 200 Mn Households (~ a billion people) in India continue to use a traditional cotton bed mattress or a low-quality material locally manufactured mattress.

    Sleepwell using patented technologies has developed high quality, affordable products for this large population.


    Job Responsibilities: -

    PURPOSE - The key purpose is to enable people to transition to a modern mattress and in the process enable them to have a comfortable sleep.

    What: The key task is to build profitable operations to serve this large populace spread across the nook and corner of the small towns of India.

    HOW: Implement and Monitor sales strategies & policies to achieve targeted sales, profitability and improve market share of Sleepwell on a sustainable basis in the overall category. Strategically build Sales Team & Channels for achieving business objectives while maintaining customer relationships.

    Key Accountability: - Sales Target, Channel Development , Market Development & Penetration, Customer Satisfaction, Team Development.

    Key Decision: Build the sales & distribution and last mile retail channel footprint, B2B / institutional sales, prioritize on-ground investments for brand awareness and conversion at the POS, team hiring


    Working Relation: Establish an effective relationship with business stakeholders to give inputs / market feedback. Establish close relationships with Channel Partners to understand the market needs and challenges. Work closely with the marketing department for branding/publicity support at local level. Close relations with Commercial to ensure that all financial claims of the channel are settled within time.

    Key Attributes needed: Passion for building a new offline focused venture of scale, entrepreneurial mindset, open to taking on new challenges, can perform in unstructured environment, high energy, knack for channel management, and understanding of rural markets.
